Our New Story
As we transition to establishing our Alabama farm location we will emphasize our Labrador Retrievers and fishing. We will use our experiences from our Christmas tree farm to be stewards of our new property and related endeavors; and we will be true to our original goal of recreation and becoming your outdoor tradition.
Our Origin Story
In 2014 West Wood Farms began the planting phase for our “choose and cut” Christmas tree farm with an opening in 2020.
Our scenic farm has almost 1,000 feet of stream frontage on Wolf Creek (designated trout stream) which is a tributary of North Georgia’s premier trout stream, the Toccoa River. Long range views of mountain peaks, wild game, and of course Christmas trees makes this the perfect family experience to start or continue your family outdoor traditions for the holidays and beyond.
With a stocked fish pond, honey bees, and grape vines West Wood Farms has plans for much more! Our labs will probably greet you when you come to the farm. As they both continue adding titles, we anticipate breeding them Spring of 2023.
